Rules 1998

General:

#1	The Championship will go on at the twelve (12) NEW tracks To know what tracks will be in the Championship and when, see Schedule
#2	There are two (2) classes to choose from: DIGITAL and ANALOG Choose DIGITAL if you use keyboard Choose ANALOG if you use joystick or wheel/pedal combination
#3	First you should register your team,
#4	Drive by your real name
#5	If you use GP2-editor, make sure that your car is still legal for racing. Please check the values mentioned below: The car BHP's must be 790 for qualifying and 780 for race & practice. The car weight must be 1313 lbs. (596kg) Grip Factor must be 198 Damage parametrs must be Default NO Pit Lane Speed limit Auto brakes(F1), Spin recovery(F3) and Indestuctability(F4) must be unselectable.
#6	Championship calculates only eight (8) best results in twelve (12) GP.

Qualifying:

You should do qualifying in Practice any Circuit mode!
Before qualifying we publish the number that you should put with your name:

For example - Alex Wurz 10

You should drive due to rules of World Top 25 competition (director - Javier Marante)
Slow-Motion driving NOT allowed
Save your best qualifying lap as Hot Lap.
Your Quickrace Starting grid will be based on qualifying times!!!

(i.e. if your time is third fastest, then you must start your Quickrace from the third place on the grid.)

Race:

You should do racing in Quickrace mode!
Race length will be 20% of full race.
You should use Official CarSet. Race lenght configured in carset as all another things
Set Up carset with GP2EDITOR v.1.81
You should start your Quickrace as you Qualified.
All who not qualifyied can start from end of the grid (26 position)
Saves are not allowed, we will check it
!!! You should follow next steps of saving the game !!!

If you use strategy without pitstops:

Press pause immediately after the checkered flag (replay must begin before finish line)
Then save your Best lap as a HotLap
After save your second (2nd) lap (first lap allowed to save) as a HotLap
Then save your Quickrace as SaveGame file

If you use strategy with any pitstops:

Press pause immediately at the pitstop (before you droped down to earth by mechanics)
Then save your Best lap in a serie as a HotLap
Then save your first (1st) allowed to save lap in a serie as a HotLap
Return to your race and repeat it at each pitstop
After checkered flags press pause immediately (replay must begin before finish line)
Then save your Best lap in a serie as a HotLap
Then save your first (1st) allowed to save lap in a serie as a HotLap
Then save your Quickrace as SaveGame file

Qualifying and Race results must be sent before the deadline of each race
After the qualifying and race period we will post the results on our Results -page. You'll also receive all results via e-mail.

Points:

Points will be awarded based on the following scoring system:

Qualifying Pole position = 10 points 2nd position = 8 pts 3rd position = 6 pts 4th position = 5 pts 5th position = 4 pts 6th position = 3 pts 7th position = 2 pts 8th position = 1 pt

Race Winner = 20 points 2nd = 16 pts 3rd = 13 pts 4th = 10 pts 5th = 8 pts 6th = 7 pts 7th = 6 pts 8th = 5 pts 9th = 4 pts 10th = 3 pts 11th = 2 pts 12th = 1 pt

Fastest Race Lap will also give you 1 extra point! (At least half the race distance completed!!!)

And 1 extra point if you win qualifying and race with fastest lap!!!

Max. points for best driver = 32/weekend

Max. points for best team = 55/weekend

Penalties:

We don't like cheaters - nobody does! If, however, we detect illegal files there will be penalties based on the following list:
